Christina Malley

Registered Psychotherapist / Neurofeedback Provider

BA (Hons), MS, MACP

My name is Christina Malley, I am a counsellor and Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University. I commenced my journey with Blue Oaks Counselling and Wellness in January 2023 as an intern. As part of my educational experience, I have studied at Carleton University where I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I subsequently attended Western University where I earned a Master of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

I am a retired veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces. Over the course of my 30-year career I had the privilege of serving first as a Medical Assistant and as a Personnel Selection Officer after being selected for a commissioning program. As a result, my career was focused on supporting various wellness initiatives and on fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment in support of ill and injured members of the Armed Force both at home and abroad.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, holistic, and client focused. My theoretical orientation is integrative in support of my belief that the selected therapeutic modality used in therapy should be evidence based, while being tailored in support of each client’s unique personality, preferences, lived experiences and goals.

I endeavour to provide clients with a safe and welcoming environment where they feel free to share, explore, and work towards fostering their wellbeing.
