BA (Hons), MS, MACP (in progress)

My name is Christina Malley, I am a practicum counsellor who is in the process of completing the Masters of Arts Counselling Psychology  program at Yorkville University. Starting January 2023 I will be providing individual and couples therapy at Blue Oaks. As part of my educational experience I have studied at Carleton University where I earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I subsequently attended Western University where I earned a Masters of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

In my 30 year career with the Canadian Armed Forces I have had the privilege of first providing medical services as a Medical Assistant and second as a Personnel Selection Officer to Armed Forces Personnel. Throughout my career I have been actively involved in supporting various wellness initiatives focused on fostering a  diverse and inclusive work environment in support of ill and injured members of the forces. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, holistic, and client focused. My theoretical orientations is integrative in support of my belief that the selected therapeutic modality used in therapy should be uniquely considered in support of each client’s unique personality, preferences, lived experiences and goals.

I endeavour to provide clients with a safe and welcoming environment where they feel free to share, explore, and work towards fostering their wellbeing.
