Hi, my name is Jason Carter. I enjoy working with clients to improve their mental health in a way that feels practical, sustainable, and connected to their everyday lives. My background is in kinesiology, where I began personal training to support clients in working toward their fitness goals. Over time, I realized I wanted to support people beyond physical health, which led me back to school to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
I believe mental and physical health are deeply connected, and that meaningful change comes from consistent, intentional work that fits realistically into your life. My approach focuses on building on existing strengths and interests, rather than trying to force rigid routines that don’t last. Together, we work to develop tools and strategies that support long-term change and feel natural to use outside of sessions.

I strive to create an inclusive, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, my dog, and my friends and family. I stay active through weightlifting and getting outdoors to hike, bike, swim, snowboard, and ride my dirt bike whenever I can.
