Elyse Schweighofer
Registered Psychotherapist
BA, MSMHC
Hi, I’m Elyse, a Registered Psychotherapist at Blue Oaks. I hold a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counselling from Divine Mercy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University. My educational and professional journey has been fueled by a passion for accompanying people through the emotional hills and valleys of life. Post-graduation, my training has included multiple trauma-informed modalities for both individuals and couples.
Before beginning my Master’s degree, I worked in an accompaniment and mentorship capacity with university students in the United States and in Austria. Through this work, I journeyed with young adults as they asked some of life’s biggest questions, grappled with the hard work of self-discovery, and coped with the stress that inevitably comes with life. My work also provided me with opportunities to interact with and learn from various cultures.
I believe that every individual has the ability to flourish in life. Sometimes all we need is a supportive and encouraging person to help us tap into this innate ability. My goal in therapy is to create a safe space where clients can explore and better understand what is holding them back from leading a fulfilling life.

I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
