Jessica Ingram

Registered Psychotherapist

BA (Hons), ASTO, MACP

My name is Jessica Ingram.  I am a counsellor at Blue Oaks Counselling & Wellness with a Master degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Additionally, I hold a B. A (Hons) in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Guelph.  I have completed the Compassion Fatigue Specialist Certification at the Traumatology Institute.  My training also includes completing the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph and I am an Associate Member of ASTO (Association of Sex Therapy in Ontario).

I believe that every individual holds the capacity to achieve positive transformation. Together, we will work towards this goal by taking an integrative, evidence-based approach to each challenge presented, as my commitment is to offer a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space.

My long-standing experience and effort to support those who have suffered loss due to illness has allowed me to better understand the complexities of trauma while also enhancing my ability to identify the complicated emotions when working towards healing and growth.

Psychotherapy can be a wonderful transformative process that can provide an avenue for healthy resolve. I look forward to supporting you on your path to greater self-awareness and relief from distress.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children discovering the abundance of nature within our community. I feel most content when I am enjoying a cup of tea while reading a good book, cooking for my family, or working on home improvement projects.
