Hello, I’m Katie, a passionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a strong background in nursing and mental health counselling. Currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, I am committed to helping individuals improve their emotional and psychological well-being.

My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University, where I cultivated a deep understanding of patient care and empathy. Over the past ten years, I have worked in various healthcare settings, including Emergency, Intensive Care, and Outpatient Mental Health. This diverse experience has equipped me with a unique perspective on the complexities of the human mind and the importance of providing compassionate care.

With a belief in tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet each patient’s unique needs, I draw upon a wide range of theoretical frameworks, ensuring that my clients receive a personalized and holistic approach to therapy. My empathetic and non-judgmental nature creates a safe space for individuals to explore their emotions, heal from past traumas, and embrace positive change.

I am enthusiastic about my ongoing education and strive to continually improve my skills to provide the best possible care for my clients. My goal as a Registered Psychotherapist is to empower individuals to overcome challenges and discover their inner strength, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.
